During the summer of 2024, the Greeneville Arts Council, with a grant from the Mary G. K. Fox Foundation, sponsored a community photo contest. Responding to a call for photos featuring Greeneville's beautiful downtown, 18 artists ranging from ages 8 to 74 submitted 70 photos. Photos were judged by local photographers Robert Luna and Larry Horn, and 3 winners, 2 runners-up, and 1 "people's choice" winner were awarded cash prizes at a public party held at Hackler Hall Event Center in downtown Greeneville.
